The second round of ‘Socially distancing’ Nora 2020 took us to the uk's most technical and physically demanding quad track of the season !
Cusses Gorse in Wiltshire.
Both boys, who love the hard pack tracks with jumps couldn’t wait to get back out there ! for our second round …
Alfie set fastest qualifying in his ‘Clubman Elite British Championship’ series with a 2 second advantage over his nearest rivals. Unfortunately, With only 2 blocks of racing due to injuries through the day it was Alfie’s time to set the Team Bar with a double win
with 51 and 48 second leads in each respectfully by the end of both moto’s, basically in a league of his own out there ! a true junior masterclass !
Harry's day started exactly how he left off from Round 1, qualifying 0.14 fastest and after Grittenhams 3 wins he took the holeshot all the way through to the Chequered flag with 8.5 seconds to spare after the 20 minute moto !
Race two was a bit of a task getting blocked in turn 1 coming through to 3rd but unfortunately picking up a random puncture through the rhythm section dropping him to p11 before the race was stopped due to a bad accident …
It's back to Grittenham, Swindon in another two weeks (august 16th ), round 3 where we may have erased all of ‘lady lucks’ early season curses upon us !
Confidently looking forward to 3 solid results a piece consolidating both championships in the PAR-ZIP-Atv's r us ! camp moving forwards
Both bikes where working incredibly well this week yet again proving the established set up is proving key !
