Zip Racing’s Harry Walker made a brilliant comeback today when he contested a round of the Championnat de France Quad-Cross Élite at Steinbourg, northeast France.
Having made a short 350-mile journey to the race venue, Walker was on the pace in qualifying. However, moto 1 didn’t go according to plan when a first turn clash saw the PAR Homes Zip Racing pilot demoted to almost last place. The ensuing race witnessed close racing and overtaking from both Walker and pal Christopher Tveraen, with Walker taking the chequered flag in sixth place.
In the second race, Walker went on to take an impressive second place behind overall winner Randy Naveaux. He then went fourth in the final moto of the day. Securing 6th, 2nd and 4th resulted in a third overall on the day for Walker.
Dad Stu said; “What a terrific weekend. Harry rode brilliantly. Massive thanks to the Tveraen family and the boys at By-Rapport for their support.”
